About Aerodrome Support.

The company draws on the 40 years of aviation industry experience of its Director, Peter Thody, which includes 9 years working within the CAA's Aerodrome Standards Department in both the Safeguarding and Policy sections.

Before the CAA he spent many years as a pilot of medium sized commercial jets in the Charter side of the industry, and flew freight and Public Transport (Passenger) aircraft globally. He has experience of small aircraft, feeder-liner operations, and STOL, and he has flown from a wide variety of runway surfaces including sand, grass, PSP,  and asphalt.  

From all this he has developed a clear understanding of commercial pressure, and of where aviation safety really counts.
